Chess Champion 2022

All of our year 6 children learn to play Chess towards the end of the year and then we hold a year 6 Chess tournament. Congratulations to future Grandmaster, Nico, who was crowned Harefield Junior School Chess Champion 2022.

Year 6 Bugsy Malone Performance

On Wednesday 20th July 2022, Year 6 pupils treated us to an amazing performance of Bugsy Malone that was sharper than a wiseguy’s suit! 

Year 3 Willow Class Assembly

Year 3 Iroko Class Assembly

Year 3 Iroko class performed a very entertaining assembly on Thursday 23rd June 2022 based on the fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel.

Year 6 PGL Residential

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Tea Party

We hosted a tea party for local senior residents on Wednesday 25th May to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. During the party, children sang songs from each of the decades that The Queen has ruled.

Year 3 Kew Gardens Trip

Year 3 visited Kew Gardens on Tuesday 17th May 2022 to support their learning in Science lessons about plants. “My favourite thing was seeing all the beautiful flowers,” Laycee (Year 3 Iroko class). “In the workshop I learnt about how the bees get nectar from the flowers,” Ollie (Year 3 Iroko class).
