Year 6 Henley River and Rowing Museum Trip

Year 6 Aspen and 6 Beech classes visited The River and Rowing Museum in Henley on Tuesday 28th January 2025 as part of their learning about rivers in Geography. The children enjoyed a river walk and learned all about the different features of a river. They engaged in some fantastic fieldwork, where they saw how rivers were created through erosion and deposition.

“I really enjoyed the walk along the river. We got to walk across the bridge and the waves were rough,” Carter.

“The trip was really good. I really liked the Wind in the Willows gallery – the models were really detailed,” Layla.

“I really enjoyed completing the different experiments and seeing how the river is formed through the different activities,” Stephanie.
